Christopher Rother

Partner, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Legal Officer

Christopher is hailed as a trailblazer in the enforcement of legal rights across Germany and Europe. Over the span of nearly three decades as a lawyer, he has wielded significant influence on legal evolution, notably by establishing an organization dedicated to systematically pursuing damage claims for Deutsche Bahn.

In his role as Managing Partner at an international law firm, he specialized in championing damage claims and safeguarding consumer rights. His advocacy has been particularly impactful in high-profile cases like the emissions scandal, where he has tirelessly represented the interests of over 40,000 affected consumers.

Björn Schürenberg

Partner & Chief Investment Officer

Björn is a distinguished entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the financial and investment sectors. Renowned for his expertise in business case development, fundraising, and litigation finance, he has made significant contributions to the industry.

Early in his career, Björn founded a company specializing in rescinding life and pension insurance policies supported by legal insurance, and as an innovator in legal tech, developed proprietary software for claim processing and damage calculation. In 2017, he raised his first investment fund to acquire claim rights. He went on to identify numerous litigation opportunities and established corresponding funds.

Björn has built a network of companies across Europe to manage and finance claims, including those related to diesel emissions and online gambling, and his legal tech company, MICA, created an advanced IT system for efficient claim processing. Currently, he leads a team in Zurich, overseeing operations and identifying new litigation funding opportunities, leveraging his network and broker channels to secure early-stage claim portfolios.
Under Phoenix Management Consulting AG, his corporate structure includes Enity Capital, MICA AG, and PROFIN Group, ensuring efficient project and resource management.

Marije Van Vliet

Group Chief Operations Officer & Head of Strategy

In 2019, Marije assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy at Phoenix Management Consulting AG, overseeing the conglomerate’s various entities including PROFIN and Enity Capital.

In her capacity, Marije orchestrates strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational efficiency initiatives across the entire group. She is instrumental in investor relations, program management, and fostering collaborations with internal teams, investors, and partners to propel organizational growth and innovation. With over two decades of expertise, Marije is a seasoned leader in business strategy, process optimization, and project management.

Prior to her tenure at Phoenix Management Consulting AG, she held pivotal roles at globally recognized firms such as KPMG and Burberry, where she honed her skills. Her extensive experience includes managing large-scale business optimization projects, driving operational excellence, devising product strategies, and leading transformative initiatives to evolve business models and processes.

Lilian de Raismes

Board Member & Chief Project Officer

Lilian is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial and investment industry. As a Shareholder and Board Member at PROFIN Group, Enity Capital, and MICA Legal Tech, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of these organizations.

In her capacity as the Group’s Chief Project Officer, Lilian is instrumental in identifying, structuring, and overseeing new business opportunities. Notably, she secured the first round of investor funding for the group, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to driving growth and innovation.

Pawel Jastrzebski

Group Chief Financial Officer

As the Group CFO, Pawel is the driving force behind overseeing all financial operations across diverse group entities. His unwavering commitment to excellence and strategic financial acumen make him an invaluable asset to the company. With over a decade of expertise in financial management within the finance and investment sector, Pawel has held pivotal roles including Group Financial Controller at Woodman Asset Management AG and Senior Financial Accountant at Rising Tide Foundation Group. His proven track record of leading top-tier finance teams and adeptly navigating complex financial landscapes underscores his unparalleled expertise.

Alex Toulikas

Group Financial Controller

Alex is a seasoned Group Financial Controller adept at collaborating with the CFO to establish controlling frameworks and produce monthly dashboard reports. With expertise in forecasting, financial statements, and bookkeeping, Alex efficiently manages all aspects of financial administration. Previously, Alex served as a financial analyst at Proteas Investment and Consulting Intermediation Firm and as Head of the International Trade Department, driving strategic initiatives for the Dion Group of Companies. Together, our team combines legal expertise, financial acumen, and operational excellence to empower our clients and drive success in the world of litigation finance.

Manuel Kabiske

Managing Director, Profin Services

Manuel is an accomplished claim servicing expert and team leader within the litigation finance industry. Formerly the General Manager at AIP (Automated Information Processing), Manuel brings extensive expertise to PROFIN Services. Leading his team, Manuel ensures precise and seamless end-to-end claim processing with law firms, facilitating efficient claim settlement. Through innovative legal-tech solutions, PROFIN Services acts as a central hub for IT and AI-based claim processing, facilitating communication among law firms, legal insurance companies, businesses, consumers, and investors.

Jonas Swarzenski

Senior Legal Council

Jonas Swarzenski is an accomplished attorney with over a decade of expertise in litigation. As Senior Legal Council, Jonas provides strategic guidance and legal support, adeptly navigating complex litigation transactions.
